GrowthBoss publishes content to help business owners make better marketing decisions. Because much of what we cover touches how you spend money — ad budgets, agency selection, pricing, growth strategy — we hold our editorial work to a clear standard. This page explains who writes it, how it's reviewed, and how we keep it accurate.
Who writes our content
Every article is written by a named member of the GrowthBoss team, not an anonymous byline or an unattributed contributor. Each author has a profile listing their role and areas of expertise. You can see who wrote a piece at the top of every article and review the full list of contributors on our author profiles. Our writers cover the disciplines we practice for clients every day: SEO and web, paid and organic marketing, brand and creative, and AI and automation.
Accuracy and sourcing
We aim to be useful and correct. When we cite a statistic, study, or third-party claim, we link to the original source so you can verify it yourself. We favor primary sources — original research, platform documentation, and named studies — over second-hand summaries. Where we share a benchmark or result drawn from our own client work, we say so, and we don't publish client numbers without permission. Opinions and predictions are presented as such, separate from established fact.
How content is reviewed
Before publication, each article is reviewed by a second member of the team for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current best practice. Pieces covering fast-moving topics — search algorithm changes, AI tools, ad platform updates — get extra scrutiny on their claims and dates, because guidance in these areas can go stale quickly.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist with research, outlining, and editing, the same way we'd use any other tool. We do not publish unreviewed, AI-generated articles. Every piece is directed, fact-checked, and approved by a named human author who is accountable for what it says.
Keeping content current
Marketing changes fast, and outdated advice helps no one. We review our highest-traffic and most time-sensitive articles on an ongoing basis and update them when the underlying facts change — refreshing statistics, tactics, and examples rather than leaving stale guidance live. Articles show their publish date so you can judge recency for yourself.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Spotted an error, a broken link, or an out-of-date claim? Email hello@growthboss.co and we'll review it. Substantive corrections are made promptly, and we'd rather hear about a mistake than leave it standing.
