( CAPABILITIES )

What our web design company builds. Custom, Shopify, WordPress.

  1. 01/06

    Custom sites, Shopify & WordPress

Hand-built when you want full control, Shopify or WordPress when your team needs a CMS they can run themselves. We recommend the one that fits, not the one we prefer.

  2. 02/06

    UX & conversion design

Layouts designed around the decision your visitor is making, not around a template. Fewer steps, clearer offers, obvious next action.

  3. 03/06

    Ecommerce builds

Product architecture, checkout, shipping and payments wired properly, so the store works on day one instead of after three months of patching.

  4. 04/06

    Speed & mobile performance

Most of your traffic is on a phone on a mediocre connection. We build for that first and measure it, rather than shipping a desktop design and hoping.

  5. 05/06

    Integrations & automation

CRM, booking, inventory, payments and reporting connected so your site feeds the systems you already run instead of creating another inbox.

  6. 06/06

    Maintenance & support

Updates, backups, monitoring and a human who answers. Optional, priced separately, and never a condition of owning what we built.

( THE BOSS METHOD )

Build. Optimize. Systematize. Scale.

Our operating system for growth: one continuous cycle that turns strategy, creative, execution and performance into a single engine.

B

Build

Scope, sitemap and design direction agreed before a line of code. You approve the look on real screens, not on a mood board.

O

Optimize

Built, tested on real devices, tuned for speed and checked against the conversion path before anything goes live.

S

Systematize

Handover with training, documentation and access. You own the domain, the hosting and the code. That is non-negotiable in both directions.

S

Scale

Pages added, funnels tested and performance watched as the business grows, either by your team or ours.

How to choose a web design company

01 / 05

A website is a hire, not a brochure

The question is not whether a site looks current. It is whether it does a job: takes the enquiry, books the appointment, takes the order, answers the question that would otherwise be a phone call. We design around that job first, then make it look like you.

That is also why we ask about your operations before your preferences. A beautiful site that emails leads into an inbox nobody watches is worse than a plain one wired into your CRM. Sid's Ponds was a referral-only retailer with no online presence at all; the build plus the marketing around it produced $84.6K of new online revenue in the first 90 days, and the site is still the thing carrying it.

02 / 05

Which platform, and why it matters less than you think

We build custom, on Shopify, and on WordPress, and the right answer depends on who maintains it after launch. Shopify when you are selling products and want the commerce plumbing handled. WordPress when your team publishes often and wants a familiar CMS. Custom when you need something the platforms do not do, or when performance genuinely matters more than convenience.

What matters more than the platform is who owns it. You keep the domain, the hosting account and the code. We have inherited too many sites from agencies that held the keys as a retention strategy, and we will not do it. If you leave, you leave with everything.

03 / 05

Design and SEO are separate jobs, done by the same team

A new site does not rank because it is new. It ranks because someone mapped the terms, wrote the pages around them and kept the technical foundation clean. We build every site so it can rank, which means clean architecture, fast rendering, correct schema and sane internal links. That is the floor, and it is included.

Actually competing for search terms is a separate engagement with its own work and its own cost, and we price it that way instead of implying a redesign is an SEO strategy. If that is what you need, it lives on our SEO page, with the local version on local SEO services. Redesigning without a migration plan is also the fastest way to lose rankings you already had, so if you have traffic worth protecting, say so at the scoping call.

04 / 05

Timelines, and what actually causes delays

A focused marketing site is typically live in three to six weeks. A larger build or an ecommerce migration runs longer. The variable is almost never the development; it is content and approvals. Projects slip when copy, photography and product data arrive late, or when feedback comes from five people who disagree.

So we scope around that: content deadlines are in the plan, one person owns approvals, and we tell you at the start what we need and when. If you want to see the standard we build to, the work page has live sites you can click into, and the case studies cover what happened after launch.

05 / 05

When to hire a web design company

This is a fit if your current site is costing you enquiries, cannot be updated without calling someone, or was built for a business you have since outgrown. It is also a fit if you are launching and want the foundation right the first time.

It is a poor fit if you want the cheapest possible page. That market is well served and we are not in it. If you are early and need something live fast, ask about the small-site offer instead, and if you would rather see the gaps before spending anything, run the free website audit. Otherwise get in touch and we will scope it properly.

( FAQ )

Web design and development questions. Real answers.

01How long does a website take?
A focused marketing site is usually live in three to six weeks; larger builds and ecommerce migrations run longer. Delays are almost always content and approvals rather than development, so we put those deadlines in the plan.
02Do I own the website when it is done?
Yes, completely. You keep the domain, the hosting account and the code. We do not hold access as a retention strategy, and if you leave you leave with everything.
03Shopify, WordPress or custom?
Shopify if you sell products and want the commerce plumbing handled. WordPress if your team publishes often. Custom if you need something the platforms cannot do or performance genuinely matters. We recommend by fit, not preference.
04Will a new website improve my Google rankings?
It removes the obstacles: speed, structure, crawlability and schema are part of every build. Actually competing for search terms is separate work with its own cost. A redesign on its own is not an SEO strategy, and we will not sell it as one.
05Can you redesign without losing our current rankings?
Yes, with a migration plan: URL mapping, redirects, preserved page structure and post-launch monitoring. Tell us at scoping if you have traffic worth protecting, because retrofitting this after launch is much harder.
06Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes, covering updates, backups, monitoring and support. It is priced separately and is never a condition of owning what we built.
07Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes. If you have a brand kit we build to it. If you do not, or it is dated, our branding and design service can handle that first so the site is not doing two jobs at once.
